  • Maintained and enhanced an Insurance Delivery System in the Corporate Benefit Division of General Electric Corporation. This application is a large scale MDI system which provides the employee benefit information to many groups of administrator. It's developed using PowerBuilder 3.0a and MDI Gateway as the back end engine.
  • Participated as a member of a 20 person team that was responsible for the programming and analysis of a Client Server solution in a large and complex NY State agency system environment, NY State Workers' Compensation Board. The "Insurance Compliance" project initiative automates the monitoring of employers compliance with providing Workers' Compensation and disability benefits for it's employees. The project involved the preparation of programming specifications, development of program code, development of test plans, and system documentation. The overall project consisted of 100 windows and 100 batch processes and was developed utilizing PowerBuilder development tool, Sybase relation database.

Responsible for developing software tools in design data generation, self-test, and system debug, which assisted hardware designers in identifying potential design failures. Process involved gathering requirements,designing, coding, testing and releasing tools to designers. Languages used include C, PlI, and REXX.
  • Improved speed in test data collection by system analysts from a manual process taking two hours to less than a minute by designing an automatic sequence generation tool.
  • Designed and implemented an Error Analysis Recovery Testcase Generation program which runs in VM/CMS and UNIX environments. It's written in C and using TCP/IP to transfer data between two environments.
